Gram Seed: a new ministry strategy

A new website, product and content strategy that helps an evangelist reach new people and organisations, whatever season of life and health he is in.

Website Content Product strategy

How we met

I first met Gram Seed at a church service. The first thing I noticed was his thick accent and his presence, both physically and spiritually. Within three minutes of listening to him speak about his love for Jesus, and his wish for everyone in that church to know the love of Jesus Christ, I knew this man was different.

That day Gram taught us about the importance of relationship and of walking with Jesus. Shortly afterwards he approached me and shared a revelation he had received from God, which has cemented our closeness ever since. That was nearly five years ago.

A changing ministry

Following some recent health challenges, Gram's focus and ministry have changed, but his love for Jesus and his desire to share the gospel are stronger than ever. That is why we have been working on a new website, product and content strategy that lets him move laterally: to different people and different organisations, offering courses he has written from his own walk with Jesus, and encouraging people to find theirs.

The work

Over six to 12 months we are working closely together. The work is still in progress, and already includes the new Gram Seed website and a course, Everyday Evangelism, that people can join each month.

When our health is good, ministry looks one way. When we face other challenges, it looks another. What we need is a different approach to communication, and that is what we offer. The goal stays the same.

What this shows

This has been one of the most exciting projects we have worked on, not only because of my friendship with Gram, but because of the value of a personal relationship with Jesus, which changes so much in our hearts and in our lives. It also highlights that the way we minister changes through different seasons of life. The way we go about the work Jesus has commissioned us to do differs, and the right communication strategy can carry that work forward.
